Brutal Brawl... Reprogramming

So i finally faced the facts: I can either reprogram Brutal Brawl so that it works better and is easier to modify or i can work very hard to try and salvage the ultimately broken current system (and probably not do a very good job of it).
However, that said I have some very great ideas for the new system:
Idea one:
All the fighters are a set of variables that modify what a master parent object is (it doesn't matter if you do understand as long as I do).
-Fixes:
--Makes it ALOT easier to implement new fighters
--various small problems
Idea two:
The thing that hits the floor is a different thing that what hits the players
-Fixes:
--all of the small aligning problems
--makes it impossible to get stuck in the ground.
Idea three:
Now, I'm not making any promises, but there is a high possibility that i can make it so that, when you get hit, you temporarily go ragdoll.
-Fixes:
--makes a knockback (and makes it epic)
--a few small system problems

I have not have so much fun playing a megaman game in a long time. This one is on the level as megaman 2 on how awesome it is. AND I BEAT MEGAMAN ONE TODAY!! AGAINST ALL ODDS I DID IT!!!

P.S. You know that guy on youtube who does no damage runs? Well, what if i made a show to get to each robot master without shooting (and no dieing will probably be in the rules)?
